The Skyline Ring: A winning design piece

We challenged the learners of the British Academy of Jewelry to generate a resourceful CAD layout inspired by a piece of architecture they felt impressed by and then selected the best designs to be 3D printed in silver.

The Skyline Ring

Her ring was encouraged by the fashionable town skyline, established by the architectural forms she passes every day in London.  That includes this as a silhouette variety working all around the band of the ring.  The front segment of the piece capabilities arcs and strains inspired by the iconic bridges of the town.
