We challenged the learners of the British Academy of Jewelry to generate a resourceful CAD layout inspired by a piece of architecture they felt impressed by and then selected the best designs to be 3D printed in silver.

We applied the problem to check their creative imagination and see what amazing creations the students could appear up with, coming up with with Cooksongold is limitless and showcasing these outstanding parts portrays just what you can do!

The Skyline Ring

Her ring was encouraged by the fashionable town skyline, established by the architectural forms she passes every day in London.  That includes this as a silhouette variety working all around the band of the ring.  The front segment of the piece capabilities arcs and strains inspired by the iconic bridges of the town. ‘Personally, crossing the Tyne Bridge meant the begin of several journeys and adventures in my life, and the bridge is also symbolic of the movement of persons amongst towns and settlements and an important part of the bustling lifestyle of the city’ -Lucy

We also questioned Lucy how she felt making use of CAD to provide her notion to lifestyle:

‘CAD was a fantastic device to empower me to notice these thoughts as I was equipped to properly and competently make silhouettes of the city, struts of the bridges and use the “Flow Along Curve” function to ultimately make my cityscape into a ring!’.

Daniela Nanii: Circus Setting up Ring
