ES: I’m definitely proud of the art exhibits I have curated. The most current show was “The Beat of Our Blood” which was an show featuring only BIPOC artists. I produced a combined media portray for the present titled “She Becomes”. The subject matter of the portray is a panther girl and it is my recent favourite.

CA: The Bought Natural beauty Summer season Pride window is my new beloved! It was so exciting to collaborate with Essie and the awesome women of Acquired Natural beauty to create anything with so substantially that means and objective, but that’s also just so pretty to glimpse at. GB: So, what’s following for each of you?

ES: I am currently operating on a solo exhibit titled “The fire in her eyes.” This exhibit as a full is intended to be a commentary about the strategies in which colorism, texturism, and internalized racism in the black local community have been closely influenced by Eurocentric expectations of attractiveness. Some items will be visual translations of my lived encounters as a Black lady in the United States. Other items will emphasize the toughness, and sensuality of the black feminine variety while discovering themes of sexuality, gender expression, and self-acceptance. The present is tentatively established for November 2022. 

CA: I am dying to go bigger and bolder with picture shoot staging! I have so a lot of concepts in my head of what I might enjoy to do.
